PIERCING THE PAINTED VEIL

Words uncensored of thy exasperated throes, Onwards my heart thuds with exacerbated woes. Aloft the veil a painted face of joviality adorned; Soft cries beneath it an ascendant ambiguity embroiled.
Slowly a crack well preserved by circumspect, Surreptitiously reveals nuggets of introspect, Of condemned chagrin, chastisement, chasm; Mortification overshadowed to a parvenus spasm.
|
Swords of needles piercing; tears of rivers shedding, Chords of sympathy of hope like a path threading, narrowing, closing, concealing to a life harrowing. Screeching screams, crumbling cries of a life adhering.
With hearts aching by the scarlet hellfire, By words scorching as if by blades of icy fire; Send mind bursting with a poignant past- And all this became the past!
